Name: David Downs
Birthdate: May 29, 1984
Hometown: Detroit, Michigan (insert laugh here)
Schooling: Grant Elementary/Middle School 1989-97
Kettering High School (8th grade; avoid this school at all costs!) 1997-98
Cass Technical High School 1998-2002
Wayne State University 2002-present
Favorite non-game show TV shows: House, Law & Order (all variations), basketball games, football games, any "real" sports,
Favorite game shows, current: Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Price is Right
Non-favorite game shows, current: Cash Cab (good concept, but it's overrun on Discovery), Deal or No Deal (no skill involved to win), Meredith's Millionaire (six years without a millionaire? Embarassing.), any "reality" game show like Survivor (it's NOT REAL!), 20Q (can Hal put a muzzle on occasionally?)
Favorite classic game shows: Wheel pre-1994, Jeopardy pre-1998, Pyramid, Family Feud
Non-favorite game shows shown in reruns: Dog Eat Dog (if you never win a stunt, it's boring), Newlywed Game (not that interested in relationship shows unless they have a classic guest), Twenty-One (the Maury Povich edition), Donny Osmond's Pyramid (glad GSN yanked that off the schedule!), GSN's Chain Reaction, any poker shows (I despise GSN's Sunday lineup; nine straight hours? Wtf!?)
